Catholic Liturgy Calendar 2015
2014-2015 is liturgical year B. The feast days of saints celebrated in one country are not necessarily celebrated everywhere. For example,a diocese or a country may celebrate the feast day of a saint of special importance there (e.g.,St. Patrick in Ireland,Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico,St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in the United States). Likewise,a particular religious institute may celebrate its founder or members of the institute,even if that saint is not listed on the universal calendar or is included in it only with a lower rank. The information shown below agrees with the General Roman Calendar and contains only those celebrations that are intended to be observed in the Roman Rite in every country of the world.
Calendar Of Japan Holidays Year 2015
Japanese celebrate a variety of national holidays,festivals,and other national observances throughout the year. Japanese holidays can be patriotic,religious,secular,international,or uniquely Japanese. In Japan,if a national holiday falls on a Sunday,the following Monday is also turned into a holiday. Likewise,a day sandwiched between two national holidays is turned into a holiday. Employees will receive holiday pay for statutory annual holidays. Employees must use available vacation,unpaid time off,or a combination of these,on closure days that are not designated as holidays,unless management provides additional time off for this purpose. Employees are eligible for paid holidays beginning on first day of employment if scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week. Temporary and casual employees are not eligible for paid holidays.

Public holidays in the United Kingdom,often referred to as bank holidays,are the public holidays observed in some or all of the countries of the United Kingdom. In general,most businesses and non-essential services are closed on public holidays,although an increasing number of retail businesses (especially the larger ones) do open on some of the public holidays.
The following calendar contains bank holidays,as declared in the Banking and Financial Dealings Act 1971,notable days and other obervances in the United Kindom during 2015. In addition,as declared in this Act,please note that:
- The days specified in this schedule may apply to England,Wales,Scotland,Northern Ireland or all of them.
- If it appears to Her Majesty that,in the special circumstances of any year,it is inexpedient that a day specified in this calendar should be a bank holiday,Her Majesty may by proclamation declare that that day shall not in that year be a bank holiday and appoint another day in place of it.
- Her Majesty may from time to time by proclamation appoint a special day to be,either throughout the United Kingdom or in any place or locality in the United Kingdom,a bank holiday.
- No person shall be compellable to make any payment or to do any act on a bank holiday under this Act which he would not be compellable to make or do on Christmas Day or Good Friday;and where a person would,apart from this subsection,be compellable to make any payment or to do any act on a bank holiday under this Act,his obligation to make the payment or to do the act shall be deemed to be complied with if he makes or does it on the next following day on which he is compellable to make or do it.
